From May to September 2025:
Summer season in Greece

In 2025 again, Avel Vaez will spend the summer season in Greece. In 2024, our crew and passengers really enjoyed what is one of the best sailing and cruising areas in the Mediterranean!

In Greece, the wind allows us to sail almost everyday. In the many Greek anchorages, the sea is crystal clear, ideal for freediving, snorkeling, or diving. Activities include visiting sumptuously decorated Orthodox temples or archaeological sites, or sampling Mediterranean cuisine.

Four extraordinary cruise options in Greece:

-The Northern Cyclades (blue route)
-The Southern Cyclades (black route)
-The Saronic Gulf (green route)
-The Sporades (red route)

Atlantic Crossing East-West

November and December 2025:
Crossing the Atlantic from east to west

From December 2025:
Winter season in the Caribbeans

The “hurricane” season starts on June 1st and finishes on December 1st each year. During this period, tropical depressions crossing the Atlantic between the equator and the Cancer tropic does not allow safe sailing in the area of the Caribbeans. The season is therefore from December to March. The weather is mostly ideal for sailing, warm and nice breeze.

We will offer you several options of unforgettable cruises in the Caribbeans:

▪️North cruise – 7 – 10 – 14 days

▪️South cruise – 7 – 10 – 14 days

Avel Vaez competes in some events

Avel Vaez is often taking part in competitive events, such as the ARC and RORC races.

▪️RORC Caribbean 600 left Antigua at the end of February 2025, for a loop through the West Indies.

▪️ AEGEAN 600, 2025 edition, will depart from Sounio, Greece, on July 6. Our professional crew and passengers will sail a non-stop loop of around 605 nautical miles in the Cyclades.

▪️Enfin, ARC 2025 (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) will set sail from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on November 23, bound for Saint Lucia in the West Indies. It will be a two-week race of around 5000 km / 2700 nautical miles.

Taking part in a competition is subject to insurer approval, and entails additional costs and liabilities, all of which are different and require special treatment each time.

Chartering options for our ORC57

The ORC57 Avel Vaez can be chartered for one berth, one cabin, or privatized all year round. Whatever the area and sailing program you choose, the catamaran will always be accompanied by its professional crew, responsible for the smooth running of your sailings.

If you wish to embark on our racing catamaran, you are free to choose your cruising program and the composition of your crew. The duration of your stay on board can be from one to several weeks.

Avel Vaez can be booked in several formats:

Individual
boarding

You can book a cruise of your choice on your own. You’ll discover sailing on Avel Vaez alongside a pre-existing group, and stay in one of the catamaran’s double cabins.

Depending on the number of people on board, your double cabin can be subdivided into two individual compartments, so that two crew members traveling alone can share.

Cabin
cruise

As a couple or duo, you can also book a double cabin aboard our racing catamaran cruiser. We call this “cabin boarding”!

You’ll have your own private space aboard Avel Vaez, and share the boat’s common areas with other passengers. In all, up to 6 people will be able to occupy the catamaran’s other double cabins, and join you.

Complete boat
with crew

If you’d like to privatize an ORC57, Avel Vaez is the place for you!

For a group of 6 to 8 people, or to take full advantage of the boat with a smaller group, you can also rent all the catamaran’s spaces. We call this a “full boat” formula. You’ll still benefit from the professional crew in charge of the boat.
