The sporades have a lot to offer. These islands are covered with trees and surrounded by crystal blue water.

Accessing the Sporades is not an easy task. It requires some skills and some luck as the strait of Doro can be very windy when the Meltemi is blowing. Between the cliffs of Evia and the mountains on Andros, the wind funnels through this narrow strait and accelerate like in a venturi. The reward is worth the wait as the Sporades are on every cruiser “to-do” list.
